Victory takes the job of designing and building motorcycles very seriously, just as you should take your job of riding safely seriously.

There are a few areas that you should be familiar with as it is your responsibility to ride safely.

  • Law

Always comply with the laws governing the use of motorcycles and your license restrictions.

  • Drugs and Alcohol

Riding while under the influence of drugs and alcohol is both illegal and dangerous so don’t do it.

  • Training

Victory suggests that you invest in an accredited rider safety training course. There are many courses available and they can help prepare you for what you might experience on the road.

  • Safety gear

Always wear an approved helmet that is well fitted. Riding gear is also important for both you and your passenger. Gloves, boots, proper eyewear and protective clothing specifically designed for motorcycle use should all be considered essential when you ride.

  • Preparation to ride.

You should prepare in advance for your ride. Make sure that you have read and understood the owner’s manual and that your motorcycle is in proper working order before you ride.

  • Ride within your abilities and consider the conditions

Traffic conditions are constantly changing, ride cautiously and know what you and your motorcycle are capable of.

Remember it is your responsibility to stay safe when on the road.
